A bus trip has been scheduled for June 22nd 2019. We will be visiting a Lavender farm where we will have a quick tour of the farm and browse their lavender specialty shop. After the Lavender farm, we head to Fallsview Casino, where all guests who have a Fallsview player card or Government issued photoID will receive $15 in slot play.

Everyone should bring their government issued PhotoID. In the off chance that you forget your PIN number, you can get your PIN reset to access the $15 free slot play.

The bus departs from 150 Consumers Road at 8am sharp with an expected return at Consumers Road of approximately 6pm

 Social & Cultural Activities 2019

  • Annual Summer Picnic – Sunday August 18
    As usual, the picnic will be held at Milliken Park (McCowan & Steeles, Scarborough). Admission to the park is free.  Lunch packs will be distributed between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.  Join us for food, lots of outdoor games and activities for the young at heart!  A non-perishable food item will be generously accepted and will be donated to the Toronto & GTA Food Banks.
  • Mid-Autumn Festival – Sunday September 8
    The Mid-Autumn Festival is held at the Society location at 102 D’Arcy St, Toronto, ON. Come celebrate with us and enjoy a complimentary lunch accompanied with moon cakes and pomelos.

  • Christmas & New Year Banquet – Saturday December 14
    This year, Fui Toong On will be celebrating its 41st Anniversary.  Our banquet will be held at Casa Deluz Banquet Hall at Woodside Square (McCowan & Finch), Scarborough.

John Chang, January 8, 1934- 2019 passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday April 21, 2019, in his 85th year. Husband of the late Wan Kiu Chang, loving father of Edna (Andre) Sue-A-Quan, Gregory (Avena) Chang and Lina (David) Yee. Loving grandfather of Liana and Christian Yee. Survived by his step-mother Rose Chang, step-sister Demetria and step-brothers George, Dennis, Felix, Marlon, Anthony and Frederick.


Friends and Family will be received at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, located at 8911 Woodbine Avenue, Markham L3R 5G1 on Thursday 25th April from 6 – 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday 26th April at 11:00am at Our Lady Queen Of The World Catholic Church located at 10411 Bay View Avenue, Richmond Hill. Burial at Elgin Mills Cemetery located at 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill L4S 1M9.

Lee, Sook Ching (Jeannie) Passed away peacefully in Toronto on Friday, November 30, 2018 at age 72 years with her family by her side.

Jeannie was a devoted wife to Soon for 44 years and was a loving mother to Jennifer (Philip) and Colleen. She will be greatly missed by friends and family  who all  knew her.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. David Rose and the Intensive Care Unit nursing staff at The Scarborough Hospital – Birchmount Campus for their care and support in her final days.

Cremation has taken place. Jeannie’s family will receive friends and family for a  Memorial Visitation at Ogden Funeral Homes, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, (416-293-5211), on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
